we had a big discussion about these a few months back on one of the rc boards. ALthough we all thought it was a neat idea and it probably gave you some stopping power most came to the conclusion that the counter gryo effect would be worse for bike stability. Obviously no one has ridden them but the dude in the video so we dont know for sure.
Im also a bit concerned how a guy that rides on the track doesnt know what and how to counter steer.
This statement "A motorcycle equipped with reverse rotating rotors can change
lean angle as easily at 180 m.p.h. as it can at 20 m.p.h." is some good bs too. Not sure about anyone else but really leaning into a turn at 20mph isnt so easy for me due to the low gyroscopic effect since the wheels are spinning that fast.
"It is impossible for a motorcycle that is equipped with reverse
rotating rotors to experience wheel wobble or tank slap"
I tend to doubt that statement as well. Theres a lot more to tank slappers then just front wheel spin. If it were all based on front wheel speed and flicking the bike through corners then everyone would be doing it.
Yea this is most definately an interesting topic.
