Heading north this afternoon with a riding buddy. We've always talked about doing an overnighter on the bikes but never have. Well fuck that. It's time.
Leaving here around 3:00. He'd like to hit the Kanc since he's never done it before. I was thinking of staying in Franconia Notch or Woodstock/Lincoln for the night. We'd buzz up Rt.10 tonight, check in at a cheap motel and then grab some dinner/beers.
I would like to have someone show us T***** road. I've never been. Hell, I don't even know where it is. Keeping that in mind, we'd be able to change our evening destination to more accurately reflect where we are headed, even if that means staying in VT. He lived in Burlington for a couple years, so he knows the area, kinda, but not in the bike world.
Maybe we could stay at White River Junction or something?
We are down with cheap crappy motels or cheap nice bed and breakfasts. Cheap being the operative word here. I'd love to have enough money to do both upcoming BoMo days and maybe a Laps day thrown in the mix.....
If anyone wants to recommend a location for the overnight and wouldn't mind showing us T***** road in the AM on Saturday, we'd gladly buy you dinner wherever we end up tonight.

T* Rd is west of Vermont, so you might want to shoot for an overnight tonight somewhere in VT. If you stay in north central NH, you'll have a pretty significant haul on Saturday morning just to get to T* Rd.

Woodstock is just over the mountain from me. There are a bunch of places over there to stay. I don't pay attention to the names of the places since it is so close to home. If you want names of places you might want to pm Nikon since he works in Lincoln.
Woodstock station has really good food, both breakfast and dinners. Truants Tavern is another good place.
Just booked a room in Woodstock!

You could get Hurricane Mtn rd and Evans Notch into the mix, you'll be really close if you're planning on staying in Woodstock or Lincoln. I am thinking about heading over that way today, too bad you guys aren't up here yet.
Tomorrow looks like crap for weather, but Lincoln is only 32 miles from me and it only takes me roughly 2-2.5 hours to make it to the bridge to NY. T**** wouldn't be completely out for you.
Hey Clayton, next time around plan a little further ahead..... We've got a guest room and a couch... and I know where T***** Road is...![]()
