The point I was trying to make is neither you, nor I, are "the majority of motorcyclists". Thus I hardly think either one of us can accurately say what motorcycling is to the majority of motorcyclists.

This is not a stand off, violence and hate comes into play when there is a lack of intelligence. Just stating that one can plow out very stupid and offensive things and hide behind the internet. GixerJockey was probably right that a grown man needs no defending. But after I read the whole thread and found it disturbing the amount of abuse one could get without really deserving it, I felt some sense should be put in. Many forums would not tolerate this kind behavior since forums should be pleasant with friends of same common interests. DON'T HATE.

I am in agreement with both of you. This thread has gone way past the point of useful. I will keep doing what I've done for the past 10 years, ride and treat others with the respect they deserve.
Thanks Joey for showing support but as was said was not necessary. I do however look forward to meeting up with you, if thats fine with you, as I do enjoy riding with adults more then with "kids".

regardless what the vast majority of motorcyclists do, it's not something that I don't do, unlike most of the bashers here that ate very limited and narrowminded in their view of motocyclists
