The deal is done, and I am now the PROUD owner of skiierx's RC51! The RC is a bike I've been infatuated with for quite a while now, and to say that I now own one just feels awesome. And, I must say, so far the bike is everything and more than I expected. The V-twin low end is just unbelievable, and those Sato pipesMy motorcycle legs aren't quite under me yet, my inner thighs were burning last night after a 60 mile ride, and my throttle hand is going to have to get it's strength and endurance back. The riding position seems a bit more aggressive than my ZX-9R, but like I said, I think my body is still getting used to it.
Skiierx, thanks again, a great bike for a fair price, what more could I ask for. And as much as I like modding my bikes, to buy one that has already had everything taken care of is pretty nice. I look forward to many miles on this beauty.
To all you Rhody riders, I look forward to some rides this summer. Up north, out west, wherever!!
Congrats, dude... that's a nice RC.

Cool, so you are the winner of Jamies bike. You have to let him borrow it once a month so he doesnt feel so bad.

congrats on picking up an RC. She's a gentle giant who needs some taming and some finesse. You'll love it

Someday i've got to swap bikes with one of you RC51 owners for a romp in order to do a side by side comparission of the TLR.
Congrats. The RC51 is my dream bike and I would sell my gixxer 6 in a heart beat to get an 05-06 RC.

The RC is a great bike. You'll enjoy it. It's what made me a solid believer in the twins. I swore I'd never get another bike once I get my RC...but then Honda had to go and discontinue it. The bike is just fantastic in every sense.

Congratulations!![]()
Glad for you but sad Jamie joined Half Squid as ' former ' RC51 owners/riders......but at least we got some really good rides in...especially the ' RC ' ride in 05...

That bike is fuckin sweet. I've ripped it through The Dragon a few times.
Does nice wheelies too!!
Did it come with those loud ass Sato's? Rear sets?

congrats, rc51 is definitely one of my favorite bikes ever. I'd love to own one
To everyone's wishes of congratulations, a huge thank you. I am excited beyond belief. I dodged the rain today for a good 100 mile jaunt, spent about 2 straight hours in the saddle and I'm feeling it right now. Building back my motorcycling muscles, but I think I'm most sore from smiling so much! The bike is so sweet, and rmbbikes, yes, the Satos are on there. HOLY FREAKING CHIT are those things sick! I feel like I'm fighting the urge to blip the throttle at every pedestrian, car next to me, whoever! And nothing better than getting in front of some dopes on Harleys and drowning out their straight pipes, ha haaaaaa!
mycirus, I can't tell you how much I feel for Jamie, he looked exactly how I felt when I sold my last bike. I kinda felt like a jerk, but I hope he knows it going to a good home.
BostonSVkid, yes, I picked up the stands, along with a pair of take-offs and the stock exhausts, just in case I want to go stealth.
Triumphdog, can't wait to hook up, get the hell out of Cranston, Providence, West Warwick, etc, and find some nice roads.
Thanks again to all the congrats, can't wait to get together with some of you guys/girls.
Matt
The Satos are awesome. Its what I have on mine. I love the look of the Harley guys when they first see the bike and then hear it.
From experience, youll always hurt after riding it for a while. The RC is notoriously uncomfortable. After market seat might help you but they are built too big for me.
