A guy in California wants to buy my Hawk.
I have actually talked to him on the phone and this appears legit.
He is asking for the VIN number of the bike. For some reason I didn't think you were supposed to give those out. I can't think why but it is just sticking in my head to be wary of that?
Should I give it to him?

You've got the title and possession of the bike. No problem.

'02 XR650R

He most likely wants to make sure you're not sketchy and that it is not stolen, etc.
My guess is he's gonna research the history. If you've got the title and bike, I wouldn't worry about it...
But while you're at it, can I have your checking account number?![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
anyone walking through any parking lot wher eyou are parked can look at the VIN number, they aren't hidden from the public, Go for it
He's going to steal your bikes identity.
