This should be interesting.
Headin to Ricks in NH now to buy a comlpete Mille front end to put on the Falco hopefully over the next few days when time allows.
I also have a new Ohlins rebuilt rear shock and other goodies to make this a new ride.
Shouldn't have to do this, but I was not given the bike in the condition I was lead to believe it was.
I have to get this project done prior to Monticello.
Anyone have some free time to come over and wrench with me? I will supply beer and food!![]()

Lots accomplished last night!
Picked up the wheels and other items needed at a few stores for repairs/track supplies!
Cleaned the crap (Caked up crud/oil/chain lube/dirt) from inside the swing arm, or actually all over the swing arm everywhere, chain, sprockets, wheels etc. Mineral spirits, and a degreasing spray I bought works wonders!
Installed the wheels.
Starting bleeding the brakes (Finish tonight)
Added oil, & Engine Ice (Will top off tonight after getting the fluids into the system)
Tore out the throttle assembly and replaced it (Bad return cable)
Checked and varified the restrictor plate and control for it was disconnected (Says it opens up HP from 89hp, to 109hp) It was already completed!
Cleaned and re-installed air box, tank, rear cowl and lower front cowl.
More tonight, but tonight could be the end all besides ride adjustments/ rebound/comression etc..
Wow thats what a good tire looks like. (Note to previous owner!)
It looks like a bike again!

Hey this might not apply to that generation bike, but on the 04+ mille/tuono there is a tech service bulletin that tells you to take off the rear caliper and hold it up about as high as you can get it while bleeding the rear brake. I think you're supposed to do it with the bleeder facing down, then up. Anyway for some reason the rear brembos in these bikes can have a weak shitty feel to them, bleeding them this way helps a little.
Bike is all back together as one piece!
While bleeding the clutch line I realized I do not have any fluid to replaced what bled out, so I have to stop on the way home from work tomorrow and finish that.
Brakes have been bled, but doing an overnight bleed through the res to get more air out.
If the weather is good I will have to take a test ride tomorrow night.
Only thing I see I need is the compression needs to be increased, and I can adjust for rebound as I go.
The bike feels to sit low, & i just raised it up with the aftermarket linkage. Hmmm?
