I use them all the time when I ride. You?
If I have a long slab ride I will wear ear-plugs. Otherwise I love to hear the bike!

Yeah, I use them on long trips too.. other than that they're too cumbersome for short rides..
I use them on long rides also...
I plug up one ear with a good-fitting earplug EVERY time I ride. The other ear gets a plug in it that sings the tune of the Valentine V1 on occasion.
Yeah the triple sounds sweet, and I can hear it just fine though the level is subdued a wee bit. I value my hearing. Prolonged exposure to sound pressure levels over 100dB can cause degradation of the hearing. Wind noise, even in a full coverage helmet, can easily exceed that level. That damage is CUMULATIVE and PERMANENT.
Ah....choice. I choose to be able to hear as well at 73 yrs old as I do at 43. I already have a documented loss to a portion of my hearing because of work and perhaps riding. I now wear big earmuffs at work, and ear plugs when I ride. You can't "hear" yourself losing your hearing range....it's gone before you know it. I now I know it. Too late to save part of it, so I really want to cut my losses now.

Yeh what ken said, one plug in snugly, and the other in about 1/2 way so I can still hear the earbud for the radar detector.
I don't usually wear them on local rides but I do on longer ones, it helps with rider fatigue.
Especially at tripple digit speeds. not that I have ever done that. Nor do I plan to to that again![]()

yeah, i wear 'em all the time. seems like i can actually hear the engine better with 'em in, since the windnoise isn't drowning it out.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
Never worn them.. Although I may start this year.
I wore them 100% of the time last season. The wind noise actually hurts my hears about like 40mph, maybe I'm sensitive to it. It's so bad I think I actually ride faster with the earplugs in, especially on the highway.
I'm going to try and get a radar screamer and stick my V1 on my bike this year. Those things are loud enough I can hear them on other people's bikes, with my earplugs in, while we're at highway speeds. (I distinctly being able to hear Degsy's very clearly in November before he give us all the cop signal.)
I love Hearos, they are my favorite.

I wear them when I ride without a helmet or with my HJC Symax, my Arai Signet fits so nice and muffles exterior wind noise good, it is quieter for me than wearing earplugs, I see no need.

I buy them at Motomarket... they are probably not as good as the custom ones, but they are more comfy than the cylindrical foam ones.
You can get them at Helmet harbor too. I guess the ones I've been buying are the "Super Hearos".

thanx, Ben... I seem to recall seeing 'em on the counter @ MM. guess I'll pick up a pair next time I'm there... I've just about used up the ones the AF gave me for working on the flightline.

it was kinda funny telling the guy holding my head steady to speak up so i could hear over the earplugs.

Just started wearing them last year. Long rides are so much more enjoyable! I'm a music teacher, so my ears are my life.
