I've been thinking about getting a bluetooth headset for my helmet. This unit works with and without your cellphone. it works with your cell it you can use it to make, and recieve calls, listen to mp3s, gps, and use it as an intercom between riders. the interphone is the one i'm looking at

the nice thing about this system is you don't need a screen for the gps. verizon offers gps. when i'm using their service (in my truck) i put the phone down and listen to the directions. and with the intercom we can communicate on group rides, and music is always good for those long slab rides.
My Garmin ZUMO does bluetooth but for the MP3 player it doesnt transmit in stereo, just mono. I am using my chatterbox headset with a cord. I am not really interested in phone calls. It will ring in and you can look at the screen and see who it is. If you want to pull over and call them. But the directions in the ear are great to have. I like that feature.

EDIT: In blue tooth mode its mono, stereo if you plug it in.....

Seems cool. But I think the last thing any rider needs is to take a phone call. The mp3 feature is good.
I'm waiting for the helmet with a built in mp3 memory and speakers.
That would be the bomb!

Yes because that is much, much more dangerous then listening to music with headphones, or ear plugs..
lol.. in a way there is not much difference, is there.
