Went away to Curacao this summer. Sorry, I could not pack my protective gear. Goggles and dirt gloves had to do. Just keeping up with my tool image.![]()

How was it? I was looking at an R1200GS for my next bike until I finally saw them in person last week at Max BMW, though I did fall in love with the K1200R while I was there.
The BMW was great. Even had hand warmers. I truely would buy that bike in a second as my touring bike over a gold wing. It was so much fun and relaxing to ride. Tons of power. The biggest problem I had was the rear tire hooking up. Not sure if the tire was a real hard compound for touring or that the oil soaked streets were the problem. Not a bad deal to rent for $75 for a full day.
