Well it's a nice day and I too have been tempted to take out the bike. But have not.
Well some other tards have though. I live on a pretty narrow, busy, two way street, maybe some of you know it in manchester NH Gold st, and just had 3 bikes go by at least doing 100mph. So frikin fast that by the time I peeked up and out the window I couldn't even hear them anymore. Good to see the heard thining has begun.

not sure, it's a brit term that's been around for 50 years or so
I was on the 3 lane part of rt 4 between epsom circle & chichester heading west in the passing lane about 60-65mph, there was a string of cars in the slow lane
I got to the point I could see a car in the passing lane with his left turn signal on stopped waiting for a break in oncoming traffic to make the left turn.
it was either I have to slow down and end up stopping, or twist the throttle to squirt back in front of the traffic in the slow lane, by the time I got to the car that was making the left turn, I was well into tripple digits, the car making the left turn was a town leo, he made the turn just as I passed him, and it looked as if he tried pulling an immediate Uturn to come after me, but I never saw him again, so either he didn't chase me, or couldn't cause I was long gone before he got across the heavy traffic

reminds me of that malcolm in the middle episode when Hal put a speed bump on his street cuz some guy was speeding by with a camaro...
I know a guy in my town who put a 2 x 4 with a bunch of nails in it tied to a rope in his street once. I guess he had enough of some punk doing burnouts in front of his house. 4 new tires later and he has never been seen again.
KB, you live in Manch, what more did you expect?![]()
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.

oh no...
does that mean that a proportion of sportbike owners exists that ride significantly above the legal speed limits on public streets, with no regard to safety gear or temperature because of how cool they look?
what has this world come to!!!!
I never thought that those kind of riders existed. As a sportbike owner, I am apalled, shocked, and never thought that this was possible.
I'm going to sell the yamaha and buy a harley. At least in that demographic, I'm EXPECTING to see fat old guys wearing brain buckets and leather vests on slow bikes that leak. I know that exists amongst harley riders so I won't be surprised by it.
Seeing fast sportbike riders on public streets when it's cold out...now that just came out of left field.

I want a harley. If anyone gets a lead on a CHEAP 65-75 iron head or something like that, prefferably kick start let me know.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I saw a guy on his harley yesterday. That salt is going to eat it alive!
