Was pretty mild out this AM. Nice ride in. Looking forward to 60F+ on the way home.

Me too
Was way warmer than i thought coming in. I broke into a sweat when i got off the highway. That could have just been the excitement though...
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Yeah, I rode very conservatively too. I don't trust traction this time of year. Pavement's kinda chilly and the sand is worrisome. Still nice to not be in my Toyota though.
Really like my new HJC AC12 helmet. It's seems much nicer than my Shoei.
yeah, I tried to take note of the real sandy corners when I was in my cage yesterday knowing I'd be riding today... Had a couple "oh shit" moments, but there's generally two good car-tire sized sand-free lines through every corner. Conservative is good... A lowside is no way to start the season.
my first ride in to work as well, couldnt pass up the 60 degree afternoon that is ahead
I feel like we should have a group hug or something.

I did bout a ton of miles after work.

Took my first ride of the season yesterday...Didn't really get the weather I expected, ran into a few snow showers heading up the Kancamangus.
Wasn't all bad. I think I only saw about 5 cars east of Loon Mountain.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
You guys are killing me! I still have snow closing my trailer in (which is where I keep the streetbike) I am getting the snow blower out and blowing a path tonight!

Yep.. no sense in me riding to work but I practically ran home last night to go get on the bike.
Overall the roads seem pretty good around here. I had one little spin-up when the rear tire was cold no big deal, other then that nothing.
The thing that was striking was feeling all the frost heaves. The shock on my bike(s) never seems to handle them as well as the forks. It always feels like the front sucks it up like nothing and then the back of the bike rides over the frost heave causing the whole bike to rotate around the front wheel.
Lets do grioup wheelies, in a school zone, while doing a ton!!!

Jay offering group hugs? !!
What's next ?
Yeah I rode too Monday and Yesterday...
Today I made myself bike just to try to lose some weight
I gained over a recent vacation.
yesterday I even took a long ride home into Dover and
Sherborne for about an hour and half...
even got pulled over by the friendly neighborhood
Sherborne LEO. My reg sticker wasnt on and i was plus ten
over. He was nice after I produced the sticker from my knap sack
and let me ride after cautioning me about the water run off and
sand. The riding was excellent. Even had Gelato out at Lookout Farm.
The extra hour of daylight helps.
I rode in today too...
...on my cyclocross bike.![]()
The Bandit is snow-locked in my back porch so it is not a easily accessed until the weather is such that the ground can accomodate me bringing her back out again.
see ya,
DJD
rode yesterday.... actually debating on whether or not i should ride in today.... I work 3 - 11 & it's calling for 40% chance of showers tonight.
i'll probably throw my rain gear in my bag & take the chance. It'll be worth the ride in.

my bike was only off the road for 2 weeks during the real cold snap. riding home the other night i was dodging huge bugs in mid March. tell me the climate's not changing. we are definitely in a different "cycle" of weather. and i don't want to hear "greenies" crying about it anymore.it's cyclical.
can't we all just get along? the snake. ssssss!
