I sold the FZR and bought this 2000 Ducati 900ss. Ohlins Rear Shock, Remus Titanium Pipes, Showa Superbike Forks, Stunning Lightweight Marchesini Mag Wheels, Floating Rotors, Carbon Hugger and Air Ducts, and all sorts of other awesomeness. It's so raw and mechanical, I'm hooked.

Nice upgrade congrats. Just make sure you keep up with belt changes and valve checks etc. Those things run forever with a little routine maint.
