Commute home ought to be a bit interesting if the forecasts are accurate.

Stunning commute in to work though. Wore quite a bit of rubber off the sides of my boots and tires; and met/rode with a cool older guy on a vintage Honda GL1000 or 1100 in perfect shape. He was riding pretty slowly/poorly and grinning from ear to ear at every stop. I told him to follow me on some fun roads and while it was a bit of a pain to wait for him to catch up after a few corners, it was fun to see his sheer joy from riding the curves. You meet the nicest people on their Hondas. Those of you born after 1968 probably won't get that semi-obscure, paraphrased reference.

I ride with this older guy all the time....he rides a 2001 victory and he loves the curves. The only problem is when he goes to fast or hits a bump he drags his pipes...you otta see the sparks fly....its funny as hell. By the way I was born in 63 so I know what your talking about.Stoink....we should hook up for a ride sometime. We do a bike nite every Tues. at 6:00 in N. Woodstock.Get in touch if you are interested. Rock

I ride with an older crowd quite a bit, being an active member of the Concours Owners Group. Most of those guys can ride very well and they are, for the most part, fun to ride with. They also think nothing of riding in from NY or NJ for a single meal and camaraderie.

Don't see myself making it to the bike night (not much of a night rider) but a day ride would be fun. Thinking of doing some of the secret NH roads that no one knows about sometime soon. I really want to try a back road only trip to Dixville Notch from Raymond which would be a long day but worth the effort I think.

I know it probably sounds insane to you living up there in sport bike heaven (or as close as one can get in NH) but there are some fun roads down this way. None are very long but unlike the great white north, the variety is vast and you could spend a whole day exploring twisty fun roads without ever leaving Rockingham county (with a guide).

Yep, that makes me happy. Where do you store your walker when you ride?
