My son called me around midnight last night to tell me about this.He works at lynn hospital ER. Apparently a 21 yr old with a new bike, permit for two days, and a pocket full of coke hit a parked car on lynn street doing better than 80 MPH. Some family somwhere is dealing with an absolutely senseless loss this morning . Had to put this out there. God be with family and friends. Rider RIP

God......RIP
RIP Rider
Pocket full of Coke ?
HHHMMM ???
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
Not sure that really matters anymore... an error on the riders part while he was alive sure.... but the piper is paid and he's even with the house again.
Ive seen first hand what this does to a family under the circumstances and its heart-wrenching. (My (deceased) best friends dad got the call at the funeral home during my best friends' wake about the results of his toxicology tests.... The somber nod of his head to his wife as he put the phone down having known now that his son was foolishly under the influence makes the loss of a loved one that much harder.)
Godspeed to family of this rider!
RIP, regardless of circumstances.
Nowadays, the only white powder I have to have for a long ride is "Gold Bond."
Rip...Cocaine's a hell of a drug
Yep! Yer right, Word! And, I think Coke's nice, weed's nice, my Maker's is nice, lots of stuff, very nice. Most of the trouble starts with the law, of course, and the pee-testing many of us are subject to, but that doesn't make it not nice. Priorities, baby. Like staying out of jail, keeping a job, a security clearance, or your life.
Most of us observe our priorities. Everything, bikes, booze, coke, drugs, bikes, fast cars, speed, in excess will, like Chris said, force you into paying that damned piper. He always comes-a-calling. We all did what this dood did at one time or another in our young and stupid days (or even our advanced and old days as yesterday on my trip from Va. to North Shore would amply demonstrate, sans the coke), but the piper wasn't paying attention, we lucked out, or whatever. In my time at that age it was flight decks and cars, in this kid's time, it was bikes. No matter. There's always the Piper. And we all, everyone of us that throw a leg over these beasts, tempt the Piper.
RIP.
Pocket full of coc and traveling at 80mph....I have no sympathy for someone like that. He could have easily killed someone else along with himself.

Do we know him? NO.
Do any of us think it's a good idea to go out riding while geeked on coke? NO.
Do I have any sympathy for this guy that did? NO.
I'm not trying to be an asshole, or to offend anyone. But, enough is enough. There is nothing to be learned here. There are no wild circumstances. Does this stuff really need to be posted?
