im changing the 42T on my RC to a 41T that i have laying around, the 42 is all hooked. I know this will 'lower' my low end torque
also, within the life of the 41T, im going to change my tire from a 190/50 to a 180/55 (also have that laying around)
My question is, how is changing the tire going to effect my gear ratio?

Put a 15 on the front, 41 on the back and enjoy. Who cares what the ratio is.

With a 6" rim, the 180/55 will still be ever so slightly larger in diameter than a 190/50. The circumference of the two should be within 1% of each other.
Variation in construction between tire brands could make the disparity larger or even reverse it.

i guess i wasnt asking what the actual gear ratios would be. i was just wondering if going from the 190/50 to the 180/55 would make a drastic change in the final drive ratio.
oh, the 190 i have is a Dunslop Qualifier and the 180 is a Pilot Power
