I've rode a couple mini bikes but no real motorcycling experience till I took the MSF last August. I think I ride pretty well for someone with my experience. I'm big on theory for everything I do, so I usually mentally prepare myself to to not let my natural instincts take over and make me eat asphalt.
Honestly I didn't venture into motorcycling until last year because I didn't feel I was mature enough to make sure I didn't do stupid shit.

MSF last June, so 1 yr (17000 miles to date)
Hmmm....total offroad and street, it'll be my 35th year.
Too old to rock and roll, too young to die.
22 years and counting.
Lots of dirt when I was a kid.
long pause between dirt/kid and street/adult. 8 years on the street.
Got a 3 wheeler when I was 4, dirtbike at 12, street bike at 18.

10 years street, fucked around with minibikes/mopeds etc. here and there for a few years prior
snowmobiles at 9yrs old, dirtbikes at 12, street at 18. Owning Snowmobiles went the wayside cause of terrible snow conditions, but still go on trips with friends who have extras, still have a dirtbike that gets ripped every now and again, and obviously still have street. So i'll chalk up just about 16yrs of riding 'something' experience.
