Anyone riding today?

I de-winterized my bike yesterday and I'm heading out riding today. In my area most of the snow is gone, roads are pretty clean too.

Outside of a couple puddles from yesterday it should be a good day to ride.

Anyone else venturing out?

I swapped out my race bodywork w/my street bodywork yesterday and am planning on a little ride before I watch the Daytona 200. The sun feels strong already so should be a beautiful day to get out and remember what riding feels like!

Back from my ride,
Did 180 miles throughout the north shore.



Make sure you renew your registration too, I was pulled over within the first 5 minutes of being out. Luckily I had renewed it right before I ventured out.

Went home, dewinterized the bike, then went and filled up the tank on Lowell. Warmer weather cannot come fast enough, especially with that new Street Triple R on the way.

Dropped my bike off at Speed Demon for some work and took my roomates GS 500 out for a quick rip.

I rode my DR650 for about 30 miles. It felt good to ride again, but it was still very cool out once up to speed. I got a little bit wet as I had to cross a couple of streams of water that were running across the road.

The groundhog didn't see his shadow, but I saw mine.

Went out for an hour or so today around the North Shore. Saw at least 20 bikes of various sorts along the way. Things are looking up...

Season started yesterday with 200 miles and now commuting to work regularly.


BTW it is lightly snowing outside my office....
