Isn't the track considered a closed course? I don't think cops have any business on a racetrack. That's the whole allure of the track. No cops, no cars, all turns, all fun. If we aren't safe on the track, then we aren't safe in our own beds!

i was going for comical, so looks like we're on the same page.i realize humor is easily lost in plain text, but i couldn't find a :satire: smiley and didn't think SIIHP fit very well for once.

oh man, you have no idea. i cried like 4 times on the way to work because the prius in front of me had this big green bumper sticker that said people that drive V8 cars and trucks are killing trees, animals and other things that can't vote. well, you can imagine how distraught i was since my truck has a V8 and sometimes i drive it and all i could think of were the poor defenseless cute little bunnies that were probably exploding into sad piles of bunnydust every time i drove my heartless ass to work. eventually i had to just change lanes to try and clear my head, but then after i did some guy flipped me off after i chose to honk instead of letting him text-dance his way right into my lane while i was still in it...that one was really hard for me to handle and i just started bawling again. i mean i'm such a nice guy, why would he visually portray "darn you" to me like that? i couldn't believe it then and i still struggle with it now. i had to stop after a few exits and calm down because i couldn't see through the tears in my eyes and i was worried my visor was going to fog up. then i finally get to work and after repeatedly explaining to coworkers that i was going to be ok and that my anthill didn't fall over or something else equally traumatic, all while putting in a productive and sensitive day of good old fashioned hard work, i check NESR to find that my small attempt at humor was lost on someone. man, what a day.
