All the races are saved going back years....
I don't know...I suck with the computer thingy!
Get the MotoGP pass via the website. 100€ but worth it. I wake up Sunday morning, pipe the laptop feed into the big TV, watch everything (MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3) at my leisure, full race, full everything.
one way......
laptop with HDMI (my $600 ASUS has this) and TV with HDMI

Any apple store will have the right cable you need.

no s-video on the laptop, but there is one on the DVD recorder/player that is hooked up to the TV via component video connection.

I think it`ll be easier to buy a conversion box than trying out different cables.
this seems to be good - Amazon.com: Sewell PC to TV (VGA to RCA) Converter w/ All-in-One Cable: Electronics ...but I have never used one of them and cant vouch for any make or model. usually, I go by the reviews on amazon.com, they are pretty helpful.

That Sewell unit above might work. Give it a shot, if worst comes to worst you could always just watch it on the laptop until you upgrade to a macBookPro!!
Not sure what video connector is use. It's the one that would go from laptop to a projector in a conference room. My TV has a 'in' for that. I do audio by running a male/male cable from my laptop's headphone jack to the back of my TV, which also has a headphone jack 'femaile' port.
My TV is circa 2007 42" LG LCD. 720p. I think they go for like 500 bucks now. So it's not like some brandy new job with all these fancy connections.
