The one with the taller bars is kinda tempting… but I’m gonna pass. Anyone pulling the trigger?

Oddly it seems I'm seeing Royal Enfields all over the place now...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Just asked the wife if she wants to move up to a 650.

The Royal Enfield twins are really cool, but part of what makes them cool is how affordable they are. I feel like a special edition defeats the point somewhat. Kind of like people paying $3-$5k premiums on Tenere 700s when the whole point is it’s a cheap ADV bike.

I like the looks of those Enfields but I probably rather wait for a clean XS 650 to pop up.
This has been a trend for a ton of dealerships in the past couple of years, as the marquee brands have trouble keeping dealers in stock they're filling the gaps with whatever they can get in to supply demand. SSR, CFMoto, Royal Enfield, all the marks the dealerships used to love to talk down in comparison to their 'premium' offerings are now getting tons of floor space 'cause they can actually deliver product.
Yay covid?
