I hope selling stuff is OK here...
I've got a pair of Sidi vert RACE boots for sale(black, size 41). They're 2 seasons old and they have some crash damage to the ankle hinge piece. The right boot is in good condition. The left one has a bit more damage (but very useable) and a small surface tear (outer layer) in the toe. They offer great protection and will be good for many trackdays. They just won't last me another season of full time racing, so I'm getting new ones.
Fits size 7-8 foot. 50 bucks takes them. all damaged pieces can be replaced with a kit from SIDI for 60 bucks. then you'd have 300 dollar boots for 110...
You could try the For Sale/ Wanted forum.![]()

If they fit me, I would so take them.
I wonder if we really need our toes, anyway.
Oops, I didn't make it very clear did I? No, I wear a size 10.5, it would definitely require some sawing of the toes. Nice boots though![]()
Free bump, also a question, how do those sidis run as far as fit? I have a C width foot with a narrow heel (known in the ski industry as a "lange foot") and I kinda wallow a bit in my gaerne boots. Thought I read somewhere that most moto boots ran D or E width and was wondering if there were any that were known to be a bit more on the narrow side...
Also do racers tend to wear tight fitting boots, or do you just have really small feet? I was thinking while on the track last year that a snugger fitting boot might give me a bit more control to keep my feet from dragging so much, do you find that to be the case?
