SBK & AMA at Laguna 2013?

Found SBK at Laguna 2013 on YouTube. I'm watching it and Roger Hayden, Danny Eslick, and Blake Young are all riding in SBK! Is this a combined effort? If so where is Hayes, Herrin, Cardenas? I'm a little confused so can someone please clarify for me how this works? Are SBK riders considered higher caliber/faster riders than AMA?

From what I understand, those guys just wanted to try racing with the WSBK guys. It was not a combined race.

Exactly, the Jordan Motorsport Team signed up to try and race with the WSK boys for that one event
