Taking a trip from MA to the Catskills, then onto the Poconos. Looking for some route suggestions, never ridden or driven in the area, trip will only be 3-days long.
Rt 30 between I-88 and Rt 17 is a nice ride, especially along the Pepacton Reservoir. Also, Rt 23A between Prattsville and Palenville.
Rt 209 between Kingston, NY, and Stroudsburg, PA, isn't bad either. Not very twisty, but some nice scenery.

I highly recommend sitting down with a map and drawing a straight line between your starting point and ending point for each leg of the trip. Then select some waypoints that take you along that route and around bigger cities that the line may pass through. Enter the way points into a GPS with names that make it easy to keep them in order. Start by navigating to the first way point with the GPS set to shortest distance, avoid highways, avoid tolls. When you get near the first way point, stop the route and start navigating to the second way point and so on. I did this (and used different way points to and from, so I took different roads) on my trip from NH to NJ and back last week. It took a long time, but I got to ride some sweet and ridiculously obscure back roads that I would have never tried otherwise. I think the longest leg on any one road was 12 miles. More often than not, I went less than 2 miles between turns, which is incredible on a 300 mile journey.

tomtom rider 2 4.3 winding roads is the bomb
My point is if its pure sport bike then rts 30 and 23
If more UJM then there are a number of cute memorable rds.
Western catskills south in to Poconos is OLD ny 42 so fun it lost some of its state numbering but if you
look at a good map you can see a continued line
