Why does it have to be the end of the season?

Damnit. I haven't been on this type of a riding high since I picked up the CBR in June of 06 after not riding for almost 9 years.

After doing the 2 track days this week, I've been seriously thinking about looking into getting a track bike. I used to joke around about it, but after getting my ass on the track, I'm hooked.

It's like a freaking drug! And I'm going through withdrawals.

    ARGH!! Is it spring yet?

Matty, when are you heading south?

How much is left on my credit cards?

Everyone did and I love it. I'm going to stock up on track bucks for next year, I think.

Jim, I'm going to get on the bandwagon that says that you HAVE to do a track day.

You ride well, so you'll feel exactly the same as I do WHEN you make it up there.

Don't ride over your head and crashing your street bike doesn't become an issue.

Funny thing is that I keep going over the track in my head. Over and over.

That's how it goes. Imagine what happens when you start riding other tracks. It gives you a "playlist" of sorts.

When I'm in the shower, most people would assume I'm playing with my diddly. Contrary to popular belief, I'm actually turning imaginary laps around NHMS.

Annalisa looked at me funny when she was out by turn 1 on Monday taking pictures. We were lined up before our session and I had my eyes closed and was going over the track in my head and turning my head in the directions of the turns.

I'm sure it was comical to watch.

Minus the head turning, I do the same exact thing while on pre-grid...not that it helped me the last couple weekends...

Actually, it was helping in that last race. It was just shit-ass luck that the front locked up on you.

Although I only had one day on the track and my other habit is swinging into season (there was a possibility of snow at higher elevations this morning, and although I wasn't quite motivated to go check, I fully expect to make turns before the end of the month). Season overlaps are expensive, though.

So who needs computer consulting work done so I can afford to spend more money? I need an enclosed trailer, a track bike, ski boots, a new camera body, and several other items...
