I'm in London and its bloody freezing but there are bikes everywhere. Had breakfast at the Ace Cafe and there were tons of bikes there. All the bikes are black with dirt and salt covered and they don't care.

I would mention something about the cost of cars and gasoline in the UK, but that would be too easy.
Instead I will say that yes, I am a pussy.

I can handle the cold to a point. i would ride in these temps but i dont wanna have to take the time to hose the salt off the bike etc when i get home or have to worry about sliding out on sand with my luck. it wont be easy but ill wait a bit longer...

I ride the Vespa like a boss in the winter.

I am beginning to care less and less about salt and the cold. Snow, that is an entirely different story.
Just got back to the USA from living in London for 3 years. Those folks ride in absolutely any weather at all. The only thing I will say is that it very rarely gets down below 32F over there. In my 3 years it snowed about 5 times total and that cumulatively equaled about 6 inches of snow. Otherwise though, they are out in rain, hail, etc. all the time.
Rode the CBR yesterday for 20 fun minutes, then rode for another 40 freezing my fingers. Should have quit at 20. Some roads good, some a mix of sand and salt. Some were just salt, those were the difficult ones, couldn't see that salt until right near it.

I would ride the motard in the cold but it has ice tires on right now. So I ride ice instead, does that count?
I own a car and a truck, both with heat. The bike can rest thank you.

Degsy, tried to PM you on something entirely unrelated, but your PM inbox is full.
32-F is not fucking warm. 32-F is freezing. Add wind chill riding at speed and.. no thanks, I'll wait 'til spring.
