Title: leather might cause more danger than provide safety
leathers might protect us from road rash during a fall but it can also cause light headedness, fatigue, distraction and nauseating feelings. I experienced this first hand last night. while riding with full gear around 80 degrees at night in Florida, i was sweating so much that i cant focus straight. a car stopped suddenly in front of me and it took me a while to react and I locked up my rear for 20 feet and finally stopped, missed the car by 3 feet. good thing i kept a good distance between the car and my bike. If i did end up rear ending the car, i would have to blame it on the gear for causing it. now i know why so many riders or squids doesnt wear leathers, because it could possibly cause more harm than good.
flame on if you want to, just my experience
this ass clown needs a lesson in physiology and that sweating makes you dehydrated and not the leathers
Or it could be called

...similar to
wet sidewalks cause rain

Some of you haven't had their coffee yet.
80 degrees and he's sweating so bad he cant focus? How bad is he out of shape? Never heard of drinking water? Put down the soda, iced coffee, red bull, etc... Open the vents, crack the visor to get a little air inside the helmet - and most important - learn how to ride...

I got a Camelback for that purpose ...
Due to surgery and lack of certain body parts, I am very prone to dehydration. If I can deal with it effectively with no issues, then he has got some intellectual issues that need addressing. <idiot>
He is an effing idiot if he thinks that riding bareskin will be better ... it is actually worse because the sweat evaporates right away and you don't notice when you stop sweating ... that point in time is hospital time and you better make it quick.
