hey guys ive shipped out car parts before but never bike parts ...im in the middle of trying to sell my 1000rr fairing kit but seems like everyone is lowballing me on shipping ...when i ship out car parts its not cheap ,bubble wrap , box , peanuts plus insurance all that stuff adds up ....where do you ship from how much is it ballpark ??
i have guys trying to offer me 50-75 bucks to ship a whole kit ??i dont see how that is possible
cost me a little over $100 the first time in 3 boxes through UPS. my sister managed to fit them all in one box on the way back, still cost around $100
I'd go get a price and say to the guy.. Hey this is the price, you don't want to pay the price then GFY. Aftermarket fairings cost around $200 to ship!
edit... although thats from Hong Kong

ive been telling people around 150ish ...i dont want to just toss them into any box and then they are in shattered into a million pieces when they get there ...
I used USPS and cost me $85 from Mass to Florida via ground...took about 10 days for delivery. Supplies (box, bubble wrapp, etc) will probably cost you another $30.
most manufacturers send fairings in one box, for $50-75... so asking double is going to be tough. Get creative![]()
Yes, I did all the boxing myself. My buddy works for a moving company so he gave me a very large size box. I'm sure you can get one of those as well as other supplies from U-Haul.
+1. Not sure about Fedex pricing but I'd definately go with them if you can get a good deal from them. Even their ground service is pretty fast.
