ok so i take my bike out today make it a few blocks away when the frein stay brakes off what the fuck it cracked right where it bolts into the frame any one have ne idea why that would happen?: mope:

Could you maybe be a little more vague? Could you maybe explain in a little more detail exactly what a "frein stay" is? Because I've never heard of one, so I'm just trying to imagine how it actually broke off the bike.

Oh, right, I misread that. He said it "brakes off" which I mistakenly read as "broke off".

Maybe its a factory defect? I didnt know front fairing stays had brakes on them?

he might as well get a few other things checked out while he is in there.

halogen headlight fluid change
hydrolic blinker fluid top off
jesus pin replacement
seal way
muffler bearings lubricated
guzinta checked for proper torque.


to name a few

while it can get costly . a little of this preventative maintenence will prevent failure on the road.
