The only thing here is I don't remember losing pressure at the brake lever. When the fluid boils does the lever pull to the bar? I also didn't feel like I was doing anything abnormal either. So then I start thinking about a tire that may have slipped. These tires have gone through 4 dry trackdays and 1 300ish mile street ride. Thanks for the comments and Hey Brad, I didn't know you were in NESR.

There was a guy up there with the same situation. He was riding a Buell. He had to bleed off some of his break fluid to get it back to normal. i agree with Fitz...It was hot as a witches tit that day and old fluid could have contributed.

Well, I changed my fluid and pads. I found moisture collected at the top of the cap and in the diaphram. My pads still had meat on them and were not glazed. Rotors look good too. I guess I need to be better with my brake fluid maintenance.

That's typically where you might lock the front tire. I can't say much about boiling fluid. Never happened to me that I know of. Doesn't seem likely as I've run the same fluid for entire seasons of racing... (not proud of that)
