will i had one and hated it. not saying you would but... sortcomings are as follows. underpowered, can't take out of 4wd, not true 4wd more like 3wd, makes a difference if plowing. the electric shifter failed on mine (an 03 btw) three times. use to freeze up in the winter also. what year are you looking at? they have upgraded them to 420 now and better body work but still the same old rancher. craigs list is full of used ranchers if you want one find one thats had all the cool mods done allready.

i can't believe your rex has not sold. i would hold out for a 500 or better. once you have the cash you will find one. i just picked up a 05 zuki king quad 700 with winch and plow for 4800. the deals are out there.

I haven't listed it anywhere. You just talked me out of the rancher. I also didn't like how it had no backup starter (no pull, electric only). I want something bigger anyway but I could get a straight up trade at a dealer. I would have only gone for it if they threw in a plow kit and a helmet.

I'm still not sure if I want to sell it. I'm still up in the air. I want an ATV and would get good use out of it but I just don't know....

the dealer would have made money on that deal . maybe get a small loan, get a good used quad then list your bike this summer if it sells pay off the loan if not you still have your bike. if your like me money is super tight. the wife and i are signing on a house in may thats my excuse for buying one!
