I'm about ready to get my R5 cylinders bored, and need some recommendations on a machine shop. I remember hearing about a guy in Brockton that did good work, but can't seem to come up with a name. Any suggestions?
call cliff's cycles in norfolk. they can point you in the right direction. they have my motor now, and use "x" dude for machine work. then there's advanced engine in wareham too. (whom i would've used if i was doing the work myself)

Bettencourts has their own machine shop have had several snowmobile cylinders done by them and always great results.

I used them years ago and they did excellent work! I used them for my banshee.
Not too sure if they are still there it has been so long. But what an awesome shop! I was lucky enough to get a tour and he hooked me up with a Ti key blank for my Ducati![]()
