After today's dusting of 6 or so inches in my driveway I'm getting sick of snow blowing shoveling.... My Wife heard of a storm possibility of 3 days in duration coming soon. i have not heard of it. I need a good dose of riding on one of my motorcycles and all would be well.![]()
Really?

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
There's a couple weather outlets watching what they're terming '...a blockbuster storm...' for possibly late next week. I hope they're off, way off...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I'm prepared, but hopefully it won't interfere with my StupidBowl Sunday kanc ride

I'm officially out places to put snow. I'm going to have to get a front end loader here to clear parts of the damn driveway.
one of the reasons I stopped plowing my driveway and parking and went to a snowblower, I have retaining walls along the perimiter of all the areas I keep clear, it takes me longer, but I can't afford to loose parking spaces, even if I were to buy the JD 110 TLB, I'd still take the loader bucket off the front in winter and run a snowblower,

I was in DC on business for a few days this past week. Decided to walk to the local watering hole Thursday night as it was ~45 degrees out. 4 guys on motards went cranking by me ... bastards... talk about rubbing it in.

I think that, unless you are a sled-head, all of us in this area have pretty much had enough this year. I bought a 4x4 ATV last year just to have some fun when the snow got too deep for the KDX. It can barely get through the snow that we have now, but it does allow me to have some fun. I tried taking the spiked up KDX out a few days ago, and I went about 30 yards before I just gave up and turned around.
I considered putting a plow on the ATV, but my old 196? Ariens snowblower does a neater job (my driveway is short and level). I bought it for a case of beer, and it has proven to be one of the best investments I ever made.

If I ever have to buy a snowblower, it'll be at least 36".
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

The old snowblower has gotten a work out again this year for sure.
I couldn't imagine not having one after the last few winters we've had.
i heard 18-24 tues thru thurs, but who knows, that will change. i do a few lots and there is abolutely nowhere to put snow now. have to use excavators and dumps to haul the snow away tomorrow
