yes, the $650 covered the clerk hearing and the appeal. it also included the cost of the appeal ($50). the weather this morning was absolutely awful due to the torrential downpour in my area so I am guessing that is really what saved my ass in this case

Hah!! I once went to fight a ticket in Concord and told the Trooper before the trial that I was planning on going to the academy to become a trooper and was terrified that the ticket would look bad and hurt my chances. . When I was called up the judge called up the trooper, they chatted and the ticket went away. Yessss

Something I have noticed in Fitchburg court is if you beat the ticket the officer appeals knowing full well he wont show up, therefore you still beat the ticket but the cop wasted a day of your time. In this case it was Ashburnham PD. And the judge goes along with it.
