Today I was riding two up on my SV with NinjaChick on the back. We were in west Springfield by the Big-E for those of you in the area. We heard tires skidding then all of a sudden, a minivan was sitting right next to me, lined up to my front tire about three feet to the left of us. He came up real fast. The passenger said...Sorry and then they just backed up. The van already had a wrecked bumper. Doesn't seem like his first time for doing that. Needless to say me and Sarah almost became a front orniment for there van.
I decided to pull over a take a breather. I didn't want to be next to that guy on the road. I might have said something stupid if I had a chance.
let me be the first to say that after an incident like that.. there is NOTHING stupid that you could say that the person did not deserve.. although they apologized.. big deal.. you were lucky..
glad to know you are both okay..
laters,

what is it about SVs that act as an idiot-magnet?![]()
taylor, DM... now you?![]()
seriously: glad it was a close shave, not an impact... tho there's been wa-a-ay too many close calls already this season.

What more would you expect the someone to do, obviously relised they made a mistake and apologised , most cagers wouldn't have done that.Originally posted by need4speed

Unfortunately it won't be the last time that it will happen to me, or any of us.
Very glad to hear that you are okay!
One thing that I have started doing when stopped at a light or sign is to watch my rear view for the first cage to roll up behind me. I will flash the brake light until that first one is stopped behind me, then I relax. Not sure how much it helps, but I haven't had a incident like SVixxer in a very long time....[knocking on wood].

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
I was pretty scared to say the least....especially when Matt told me I would have gone through that guy's windshield. Holy shit.

was that in the double lane section there, or did he have to swerve to miss you guys, and ended up at an angle?
We were in the left lane (of a double lane) and he swerved into the lane of oncoming traffic to miss us.
