As I'm new to the area, wondering where I can go to get some much needed gear. Also, any suggestions/recommendations on where to take my Kawi for service??? I had chains back where I moved from, but now I see names like Razee's, etc. I need to get a new helmet and a bunch o' other shite.

Any help would be most appreciated.

New Enough Motorcycle Apparel sells motorcycle jackets, pants and suits, boots, gloves, helmets, etc :: New Enough Motorcycle Apparel is one that's usually pretty good. Try stuff on at a local dealer and then buy online.

I really wish that I can recommend a gear shop.
Other than the dealer where I bought the bike, where the prices
were somewhat fair but they had limited inventory, there is not a
gear shop around that I would recommend doing business with.

People say to support your LBS ... honestly, everytime I try to establish
a relationship, I get screwed. And the funny thing is that the more expensive
the gear, the more they get tight with the service cause it will cost them
money for screwing up.

If they have what I want right there and then, I will pick it up.
But I will NEVER place another special order again.

I can do that just fine over the internet and most internet businesses have
established no nonsense reputations on returns.

Cyclegear ... Newenough for previous years models of clothing.

Pay with your credit card and if they give you crap, dispute the charges
with the CC and you get great results.
