The bike is so clean looking that it looks more like a non-functional concept model then a real race bike. I wonder how much resistence they faced with the Ducati head people by not going with a steel trellis frame.

It's because in Europe and the US (probably other places as well) there are restrictions on tobacco advertising. That is pretty much a dummy logo to go in place of the Marlboro logo. Yamaha did that with the "team" insteat of Camal and "Gooo!!!" instead of Gauloises
