I got stopped for some BS, let me go after running my info with no ticket or warning. After that I decide to head on into MA. So I go onto rt28 by Autozone and there are a bunch of cops pulling people over. They were set up in the State Line Pay Saver and Autozone parking lots flagging people down. I guess the Holiday weekend started early for SPD.

Yup, I counted 5 speed traps on my way to Portland, Me. today. Didn't matter to me today anyways, truck I was driving is governed at 70...and it doesn't do a bit over that.

Maine is famous for the overpass radar speed traps, they also set up on the sides of the highway as a survey crew to shoot radar. I've found they have a pretty high tollerance though so you really have to be moving to get stopped

Yup, south Portland, exit 7 off I-295
I left my house at 6am heading into Boston, got fucken fucked in traffic so I was an hour late for a delivery!! left Boston about 9:45 and was in Portland at 11:30...didn't get back to our shop in RI until 3:45. $300 in fuel and $18 in toles

I thought I'd never say this but start going north from now on. (This is very hard for me to admit being a masshole transplant.)
going east on 101 last night to portsmouth every other exit had 2 troopers outside their "race cars" lookin for someone?
Anyone know of any escapee's or was it the start of the holiday?

The reason he said he stopped me was because of my plate. I finagled my way into a temp plate because town hall was closed for some reason the day I went. They gave me a full size temp plate instead of the smaller motorcycle one. The cop saw it and thought it was strange so he stopped me. All of my papers are in order so he couldn't do anything about it. He did tell me to slow it down though. When I asked him how fast I was going he said "I got up to 45 when I was behind you." When he said that I just thought to myself "Ya no shit buddy, if you are going to catch up to someone you do have to go faster than the person in front of you." I didn't say it because he didn't give me a ticket, I know I was only doing 30.

It's called articulable suspicion. He can articulate that it is unusual to see that plate on a motorcycle. If you had a temp plate stolen off of your vehicle, you would want officers checking for things like that. Contrary to your belief, you are not as important in the eyes of law enforcement as you think.

If he wanted to mess with you he could have pulled out the state inspection manual and FOUND something to write you for. Suck it up and move on with life.

I meant BS reason as in it wasn't something I was doing like speeding wheelies or acting like a jackass......I saw him before I got the chance to be a retard.
