Stealing track toys is about as low as a thief can get. I remember the thief that did the reddit AMA a while back said he passed on a bike once out of respect after noticing it was safety wired. Too bad your man didnt think similarly.

Can you post a bit more of the context in which MLC is used? In other words, what exactly does the policy say? based on what I'm seeing online, there is a chance the exclusion is from DAMAGE caused by MLC, not theft of...

I had a brand new 2013 CRF250L stolen from in front of my place last September, and track boots/gloves stolen from my garage shortly before that along with an overnight bag (with $500 worth of DJ gear in it). So yeah, some crew is treating me like a bank.

Post a picture of it if you can. I just saw a CBR race bike posted for sale in CT that was an 07. I don't remember the exact description but it was an 07 CBR, race bodywork that was damaged, penske rear shock, NTEC tires etc. The rest of the description was describing a rebuilt motor though.

Now that I'm actually reading the policy (I know, I know) it's apparent that my policy blows and I should probably switch insurers. But here's the 'exclusions' section of the policy:

Property Not Covered. We do not cover:
1. Articles separately described and
specifically insured in this or other insurance;
2. Animals, birds or fish;
3. Motor vehicles or all other motorized land
conveyances. This includes:
a. Their equipment and accessories; or
b. Electronic apparatus that is designed to be
operated solely by use of the power from the
electrical system of motor vehicles or all other
motorized land conveyances. Electronic apparatus
includes:
(1) Accessories or antennas; or
(2) Tapes, wires, records, discs or other media;
for use with any electronic apparatus.
The exclusion of property described in 3.a. and 3.b.
above applies only while the property is in or upon
the vehicle or conveyance.
We do cover vehicles or conveyances not subject to
motor vehicle registration which are:
a. Used to service an "insured’s" residence; or
b. Designed for assisting the handicapped;
4. Aircraft and parts. Aircraft means any
contrivance used or designed for flight, except model
or hobby aircraft not used or designed to carry
people or cargo;
5. Property of roomers, boarders and other
tenants, except property of roomers and boarders
related to an "insured";
6. Property in an apartment regularly rented or
held for rental to others by an "insured";
7. Property rented or held for rental to others
