Strangest thing strapped to a bike

OK...what's the strangest thing you have seen strapped to the back of a bike?

There was a bike (nice BMW) in the bike parking area at work yesterday with a big ol' chainsaw strapped to the back. It would have been a great bike for a Mad Max movie. Granted, I do work in Maine, but it was still pretty friggin funny to see.

the only reason you haven't seen a chain saw strapped to the back of my SV is because I was in the woods using it when you stuck your business card on my bike

I would say the strangest thing I have had strapped to my SV is a slab of granite (burnout board surface)

YSR50 strapped to the passenger seat of a 1500 Wing on the way up to Laconia Bike Week back in 1994.

Another odd one was a full dress Harley towing a 10 ft. Aluminum boat on the Mass Pike.

About the strangest thing I've personally had is a 4ft length of 3/4" square aluminum tubing. I bent it in half, and tucked it sticking backwards out from under my tailbag.

These were taken in late august of 05 in Sebago ME. That is a big harley towing a crate with a dog in it. Sorry you can't see the bike but take my word for it - I was trying to drive and take the photo at the same time.

Rob rode down to Manchester with a tire around his waist. Other than that, I haven't seen too much random stuff strapped to a bike.

I remember that day

There was a guy on the pocketbike forum that made a rack for his sportbike to carry the pocketbike on the back, I'll have to see if I can dig up the picture

I used to see a guy strap all his hockey gear and sticks to the bike to go to pulic stick time in Westboro.

Oddest thing I have had on the back of my bike was my hockey scates strapped going to get them sharpened. One time I took a set of tires and made a small stand in order to tie then to the back of my yzf600 a few years ago. I got a few odd looks from people.

No photo, but when I was working in vancouver there was a dude with a huge fishtank with shellfish and other sea creatures (mostly sushi type stuff I presume) on what looked like an older Bandit.

That's a riot...I forgot all about that. That was last fall, up beind Sherry Barsanti's Self Storage area. So you actually found the card, huh ?

So, do you have a bracket to hold your transit on the back of your SV also ?
