Not a bad time to check with your crews and make sure everyone is good. A sport bike (rumored to be black/gray) went down after hitting an SUV on Rte 102 in Londonderry with severe damage (enough to close the road) as reported by the Telegraph.
---
A potentially serious accident in Londonderry has forced police to close about a mile of Route 102.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 102 and Mohawk Drive and involved a motorcycle and an SUV. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
The road is closed in both directions from the intersection of Route 128 about a mile east.
Londonderry police and ambulance crews are on the scene, but there's no word yet on the victims or their injuries.

Hopefully, its not as bad as it sounds. Prayers go out to the rider (truck driver too) hope nothing is life threatening, that would not be good.
hopefully the rider and driver at alright. Best wishes to anyone injured.
about a mile from my house.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
"Both vehicles were heavily damaged" ?
SUV vs. Bike?
I can guess who loses out in that situation....

two people were injured in an accident between a Suzuki motorcycle and a 2004 Volvo station wagon near the corner of Mohawk Drive and Route 102 in front of the former Lukoil gas station.
The Volvo, which had been traveling on Mohawk Drive, continued across the eastbound lane of Route 102 and was making a left turn into the westbound lane when the crash occurred, according to Londonderry police Lt. Scott Saunders. At that point, the eastbound motorcycle hit the car.
Wayne Lambert, 51, of Nashua was flown by helicopter to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston with what police described as "serious injuries." A hospital spokeswoman said late last night his condition would not be available until today.
....Derry police later responded to a motorcycle accident at the corner of Route 28 and Island Pond Road, across from Clam Haven. Police said the female motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, but no further details were available.

Crazy. I was at Clam Haven at 12:30 that day eating a nice Shrimp basket for lunch. I had just finished a jaunt down Island Pond. While I was sitting there I watched all kinds of bikes go by. I remember seeing one lady on a metric cruiser coming to a stop at the lights. From about 20mph till she stopped she had both feet nearly dragging, like landing gear or something. I hope it wasn't her that crashed. Also there was some kid ripping by doing a wheelie heading down 28s, I remember seeing emergency crew go by shortly there after, hope he didn't get hurt.

Depressing, yes.. but a truthful reminder of what WE are up against each time we get on our toys to ride. I think it's important to make this info known to all of us within our community, lets face it.. theres not a lot of us in the big picture and we all likely know of a crash that hits home in particular.
We gotta get each others backs on the streets and look out for each other!
UPDATE - Rider is Wayne Lambert...anyone know him...he was on a Zuki

Let it be a reminder to us that we take extra care and caution if we want to put out bike away this year and not tow it away
