Hey guys, Do any of you have a 2012 or later S1000RR?
If so I would love your input, I am very serious about finacing one this spring time, I would like a used 2012 or 2013 model, I was just wondering if besides the recalls (on the kickstands, older crank shafts certain ones in regards to the serial #'s) is there anything serious worth thinking about? I rode one at MAX BMW in North Hampton NH and the salesman John was an awesome guy and couldnt have been more welcoming.
Does anyine have more than 5k 10k or 20k miles on one? How is it holding up to its Japanese nemesis's in all respects.
Any feedback will be much appreciated, thanks members. eryk
I had a 2010 and sold it with under 6k on the clock, so I can't be much help here. FWIW, it was a great bike. I've been thinking of getting another one for my next track bike.
Don't they come with a standard 36 month warranty ?
Amazing bike I could ride daily. But to me it had no soul, no charater....it was so perfect in everything it did it was bland.
Thanks for the input bud
I did that too, just seeing how my locals dudes were thinking, thank you
Rode one for two days at a CSS course at NJMS. They had a fleet of 20-25 of them which they sell off every year. The riding modes were well sorted-out. They were very happy with them.
I hoped to buy one but my knee can't tolerate the riding position for long.

It's not a 2012, but should be much cheaper than getting one through a dealer...
