Anyone ever buy, what I can only assume is Chinese, dirt wheels from fleabay? Something like below:

Need a set for ice tires since I am nearly out of band-aids.
I have been looking at similar auctions for SM wheels. So far I haven't been willing to take the $500+ gamble.
Although that auction says it ships from CA, which would make me a little more comfortable.
19" rear? I don't know much about dirt but thought most rears are 17 or 18
Basically, these are typically out of the same places producing Warp9, DNA, etc, just minus the QC hence the lower cost. May be great, may suck, no idea how dealing with them on warranty will be.
As an example, I bought a set of Chinese produced radiators for my WR back in June. 3 revisions later I rode this month for the first time. They were willing to stand behind their product but the response/turn around time was horrible.
…(some) Big 650 Dual Sport bikes come with 17".
I live about an hour from them...if they take awhile to respond I'll bang on some doors
Bill, check these guys out. they do Excel and a few others. not sure how the price compares but worth looking at. i was gonna buy my supermoto wheels from them but eneded up getting the alpinas instead

Buchanan isn't cheap, but they build crazy stout stuff if you want.
I realized I posted the 19" after the fact but I was looking at 18"...now stay on topic. :-)
Not really looking for stout with ice rims, looking for cheap. I can look at Buchanan but cost could be a factor.
Was wondering if anyone had rolled the dice on a set. I wouldn't Ming used but not off EBay, that never goes well.

I don't dare buy used for my machine off eBay... 20 years old, I doubt there are any floating around in much better shape than my current hubs. Seeing as there are a few of us in need of wheels, should I try to wrangle a group buy on Warp 9, DNA, etc? Dunno if they'd do anything or not but I'm willing to ask.
They've also got CACR rims if you're looking to save a touch. I keep watching their specials waiting for a set of old yam fitment wheels to go on discount...
