So I think I'm the only one...

... The only one on god's green earth that manages withing two months to somehow (not any of my own doing...) to have a broken triple clamp (I think it was somehow broken or sliced halfway when the bike was being put together) and a flat tire all withing 2 f*n months!!! This is ridiculous when you have to pay 70 dollars to have a bike towed not even 2 f*n miles... This SUCKS!!!! Not to mention that I have to buy a new f*n tire when I have less than 3K on the tire

I am sure someone who lives close could help you with a truck or a trailer. I would if you lived near me.....

Hey cheer up, I got a flat the first week I had my bike. I was at the RMV picking up my plates, as well as a nail.

Plugged the tire, and got 3000 miles out of it before i replaced it.

As for the triple clamp, and the tow I am sorry to hear you lost a loved one!

When you really get into motorcycles you have to own your own. Is own spelled the same for both of those?

Maybe it's just the wuss in me, but I always get a bit nervous about plugged tires when I am on a good run. Around town, I am fine, but any ride with distance and speed, it wears on my mind. What if.......

    154 mph and a the plug leaks....yikes!

Should be checking your tires before every ride. not that we all do all the time. I've run tires with three plugs in them for a week at and around the draggon, toasted the tires to the core and wasn't at all nervous.

Yeah, I hear you... but the internal plugs are mad vulcanized, yo.
It's all about the installation... I wouldn't want to ride on a plug anyone else installed. Kind of like paching your own parachute.

Supidity got the best of me!

The fastest i have gone on my bike was with the plugged tire.

And for fear of ridicule am not willing to say how fast i went.

I'll just say it was faster than i probably should have gone on a public road, never mind the plug.

    there are some quality smilies.

"they" usually won't do it for you... liability, profit margin, yadda yadda.
    "you" can do it yourself.
Most people think of traditional car tire plugs from autozone... these aren't the same.

So, the plugs that you use are from where, what kind....help out a dumb chick. Probably not a bad idea for me to have some on the parts shelf.
