to all the guys for their help and support today as I went down for the first time. Sorry I don't have a list of names, but you know who you are.
Explanation here :http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...-ride-bbq.html
A big Thank-You to Anthony (sorry I don't have your screenname!) and his dad for letting me use the truck to get the bike home.
I know a few of you took some pictures...if you don't mind could you send them to me!?!?
I was telling everybody up @ the gap that I had insurance so I was pumped about putting in the claim, only to remember on the ride home, that I took off the insurance over the winter, and only put the bare minimum back on this Spring..... SO DOC...let's get that garage open in full swing!
I know I know..things could be alot worse....

Let me know what you want to do . You have my number. Clean out that rash dude and don't be a sissy. Get it down to clean flesh or it will get infected.
Is the wife aware?

Hey bro, glad you're okay. Was good to see you yeseterday, still vertical and allHeal quick and let me know how I can help with getting the bike back on the road!
Thanks everybody.
Bike is going to be a work-in-progress all winter. I'll have to steal rides on other peoples bikes for the remainder of the season! ha-ha...
The wife was a little shook when she saw the truck pull in with the bike in the back of it, but she's fine now.
I'm using this as more ammo when convincing her I need to go to the track (education).
BBQ was great yesterdayze, thanks again for the food!

Glad you're okay, Tyler!
As for the bike, you could always streetfighter it...

Time to turn your bike into a streetfighter!
Hey Ty, Just so you know, I have a plastic welder and paint guns for the plastic that may be cracked but salvageable. If you need fork tools or anything like that too just let me know! Sucks about the insurance thing. Did the forks get tweaked or is that the camera angle? You said the swingarm was tweaked for sure? Any tear or stress lines on the frame you can see? I wouldn't weld the frame if anything got torn there, better to just replace it, but if anything else got screwed up you're welcome to the MIG as well, I have the aluminum setup for it too.
How are you bruise and stiffness wise today :p?
Thanks for the offer Jay!
I've been too mad (and it's been too rainy) for me to asses the damage yet, but I think I'm going to be okay! If the rear swing arm is okay (even if it's not they are on eBay for $90), it's all mostly cosmetic. I think the rest of the frame / forks are fine.
I'll have to come over and check out the new tools regardless!

Is it an optical illusion or is your L fork tube actually broken?
Looks like a not fun way to exit…good luck in the rebuild and heal up fast.
I hope not!! I'll have to check that out after work.
DOC- The sprocket might actually be okay, but the rear axle is bent for sure.
My bike will be in a garage about 3minutes from your house...
I'm trying to convince the wife to let me buy this one for the Spring: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...ck-bike-2.html

Dang! The rear axle is bent?! I thought it was just the adjusters. Ouch. Is your rim bent too?
