In Japan for 10 days. Seeing a ton of bikes. Going to post some of them here. Hoping to get to a motorcycle shop eventually.
Mexican parts on a British bike in Japan? Mind blown.
Okay, not a motorcycle but...
I have one of these at home

Very true but even that r1 looked different then the r1 in the US unless it was just the angle it was taken?Originally Posted by DesmoTull

Curious what the price was on the MC28 & RG400?

very cool thread.
I've heard of plenty of people that want little bikes but the general motorcycling public seems to think we all want bigger bikes. Maybe its cause that's what we're so used to seeing. Tiered licensing in other countries has kept small bikes sales going strong over big bikes.
The only vehicle I would even think about taking on a payment for right now would be a new VFR/RVF400. other 400s like a CBR400 or ZX4 would also strongly be considered though but the V4 would have a down payment put down before I even saw the bike.

for someone who owned one you have a poor attention to detail. even I noticed the headlight fairing is slightly different and the rotors are new. not that it's new (article is from 2008) but the stuff would be new to what we got here in the US

He's used to seeing bikes laying down, so he's probably never seen that bike at that angle.
Right on about the 400s. I saw so many awesome small displacement bikes when I went to Japan a few years ago, I returned envious and frustrated with the market over here. A few more options between the 250cc parallel twins / singles and 650/600cc sportbikes would be welcome.
Cool pics overall! They had some amazing scooters and customized pit bikes too. When you're at the moto shops, look for a brand of riding gear called Yellow Corn. The engrish on their products had my sides aching.
great pics, thanks for sharing! the Mexican Triumph and Six Days MZ are sweet![]()

I rode my wife's EX250 home from where we bought it on a busy highway at 80mph, and I was surprised to see how well it handled the trip.
