Check it out.
Amazing workmanship!
wow thats really impressive. One of the nicest VFR's i've ever seen.
2021 Ducati Panigale V2
2020 Honda Grom
Yep. He went all out on that thing.
I spent 2 hours +/- reading the entire thread when I first saw it and I got absolutely nothing done at work....I'm very intregued by his approach to this project. I may take a ride down to PA and try to see this thing someday.
very nice. i'd like to see something like that done with the 02 and newer vtec vfr.
It's cool but the excitement over it is retarded.. I can't believe all the people screaming for him to build kits... very few of them will be able to install them by themselves, by the time they're done they're going to have a $20,000 VFR that will still be slower then a 600 in anything except a highway roll on. It doesn't even look like it starts making signifcant extra power till 6000-7000rpm. And it doesn't do anything for the 100+ lbs of extra weight you're carrying around or the ground clearance issues.
I don't know.. I'm starting to think the VFR attracts a very squidly crowd.
your right ben for the most part it doesn't really do much. i just marvel at the time and engineering that went into it.
the thing with vfr's is there very well rounded just alittle soft on power. does a vfr need 140+ hp? no, but it would be fun. i think of the vfr as a nice compromise between a cbr and a st. i loved my 04 but the vtec was annoying.
The overpowered couch is more kawi's thing. I think the VFR has plenty of power. More power = shittier gas mileage, lousy tire economy, etc. It can still out-accelerate pretty much every car on the road.
