Motorcycle lift

Hi I have converted my manual hydraulic lift to operate using air, I can get it to go up but won't come down when the air pressure is released.
Only way to bring down is turning the standard tee release, what can I do to make this come down without using the awkward tee?

Your old bottle jack was connected to the release foot peddle. The valve should be the same on the new one? You need to either find a way to connect that or make yourself a new one. Pictures would help the forum.
