The exhaust doesn't look as bad in person, but it's still ugly. Most people will upgrade the exhaust right away anyway.

They have cool looking 250's over there because goverment has half a frikin brain and only allows you to own a 1k after you've riden for about 10 years. They start you off on a 50cc and you work your way up!!

I agree that Suzuki would be a great bike here in the states, SV is nice if you like twins, but for an I4 rider that GSR is a great alternative to a 599 or an FZ6.

The problem with the MT-01/Bulldog is it's the old Virago 1100 motor...

My dad has one of those Viragos.. it's a good motor for a cruiser and it spins up better then lots of the new Harley-clone motors (It's DOHC chain drive, I think the redline is around 8k, but it's not real productive to spin it past 5-6k), but it's hard to believe it's right in a naked bike.

i LOVE the 919 and 599 (hornet in europe) but the 599 is an f3 motor and the 919 is a 900RR motor. what year GSXR motor is in the GSR.. i dont know. but still a cool bike. i like naked bikes even though i dont know if i could own one. its a cheap insuance alternative if you cant afford the race reps

I like that FZ-1. It looks pretty bad ass. Would be some good competition for the Z1000. The 919 just looks too tame for my taste.
