A friend of mine is looking at one of these used. I don't anything about them other than the technical specs. Are they decent bikes? He knows it's not fast and does not care. He's just looking for something easy to work on, reliable, comfortable and cheap to cruise around on. Seems like a decent design with liquid cooling, screw and locknut valve adjusts, and shaft drive.
my dad had the C50 boulevard which was the successor to that bike, i think they were pretty much the same bike, he drove it all the time and never had any problems with it, he moved up to a goldwing for having my mom on the back and the longer touring he wanted to do, that was the only reason he got rid of it.
I had a M50. Same driveline I believe. Solid and fun. Not overly powerful but plenty. I never did more than thumb the button and change the oil and tires.
The older I get the Faster I wuz
Yep, good bike. I sold these when new and when they changed it to the C50 (M50 was a bit sportier). Good motor, a bit of a clunky trans but easy to ride and cheap too!
Thanks, sounds like a decent bike for him. Cheap enough too.
I do know of one forsale in Chelmsford if he is looking...
that's cool. I'll echo what everyone said. Solid bike that needs very little maintenance. I sold a lot when I was selling 'zukis .
