saw the SV650... not sure if i like the new frame... i like the round like on mine, but i think i like the square tank... overall i think it's kinda boxy...

This would yield approx. 196mph (+), however, they are limited to 187 mph.

If these stats. seem outrageous to you, then DON"T test ride one. I'm not trying to offend, this bike is in a different class than your SV; it is difficult for beginners and intermediate riders to handle.
